<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trim structure of an automobile capable of improving the assembling property of a pillar trim while improving the deploying property of an curtain airbag by retaining outer dimensions of a roof trim, even if an occupant unexpectedly presses the roof trim on an opposite vehicle cabin side. <P>SOLUTION: An engaging portion (a curved wall 12e, a coupling portion 12g) covering a terminal 7a of the roof trim 7 from a vehicle cabin inner side and engaged with it at a pillar upper peripheral edge, and a guide 12f guiding the curtain airbag 4a so as to be deployed into the vehicle cabin upon the engaging portion are integrally formed. The pillar trim 12 is changed from a state before assembling to a state after assembling, thereby displacing a relative position between a main body 12a and a guide surface 12f. Accompanied by the displacement, the engaging portion presses the terminal 7a from a back surface side of the roof trim 7, and constrains it at a predetermined position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
