PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means of improving network transfer efficiency by providing a means for invalidating caching data stored in all cache servers other than an owner cache server and eliminating the risk of erroneously using old caching data. SOLUTION: A blade server system equipped with a plurality of blade servers, cache servers and management modules, and a system including a storage connected to the blade servers through a network are used. A management table storing the logical unit number of the storage and the validity of data registered therein is provided in the management module for the data of the logical unit of the storage stored in the cache server. When the blade server system performs a read instruction from the storage, a read request to the storage is prevented from being issued and the data in the cache server are transmitted as read reply.
