PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotating electrical machine that makes it possible to suppress increase in rotor inertia for lengthening the life of a belt and to increase field magnetomotive force for the enhancement of output. SOLUTION: The rotating electrical machine is constructed by implementing the following: first and second magnetic induction members 30, 35 are fit in first and second holding grooves 27, 28 formed in the opposite portions of the upper parts of the inner wall faces of first and second valley portions 25, 26 so that they are extended in the axial direction and installed over the first and second valley portions 25, 26; and first and second permanent magnets 32, 37 magnetized and oriented in the opposite direction to a magnetic field 41 generated by a field coil 14 are fit and held in the fitting grooves in the first and second magnetic induction members 30, 35 so that they are opposed to each other with a predetermined gap between the inner circumferential surfaces of the tip portions of second and first nail-like magnetic pole portions 24, 20.
