PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily make the same menu setting with reliability on a plurality of video recorders. SOLUTION: Video recorders 101 and 104 are each made up of a main storage 207, a CPU 208, and various interfaces and the like. The main storage 207 stores CGI means 301, operation means 304, memory management means 305, and system control means 306 which externally stores set setting information through the CGI means 301, obtains the setting information from the outside through the CGI means 301 as necessary or setting information having been set by another video recorder for the video recorder, and makes the same setting on the plurality of video recorders according to one of the setting information and the setting information of the another video recorder.
