PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which allows a document including images of a plurality of pages in one page to be easily and properly taken in and utilized. SOLUTION: An acceptance processing part 10a accepts and specifies the number of pages of which the images are included in one page of a document, and a resolution determination part 10b determines a taking-in resolution when taking in image data of the document, by a scan function part 3 on the basis of the specified number of pages, and an image processing control part 10d makes the scan function part 3 read in the document with the determined taking-in resolution to obtain image data of each of the plurality of pages included in the document, and a file processing function part 10c executes image processing of creating an image file from obtained image data of respective images.
