PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device capable of performing an appropriate brake control even when a partition wall is provided on a reservoir. SOLUTION: In the braking device, the brake control is performed with a hydraulic pressure of a pump 36 by blocking a flow passage for communicating a master cylinder 14 and a wheel cylinder 48 through master cut valves 20, 22. The braking device is equipped with the reservoir 28 composed by forming partition walls 281, 282 which store a brake fluid supplied to the master cylinder 14 and partition the inner part. When the brake control is executed in such a state that the brake fluid stored in the reservoir 28 is less than a predetermined amount, a brake fluid return control for returning the brake fluid flowing out to the flow passage through the master cylinder 14 is performed. The brake fluid flowing out from the reservoir 28 to the master cylinder 14 can be returned to a reservoir area connected to the master cylinder 14 thereby, and therefore an appropriate brake control can be performed.
