PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce irregular density by correcting a gradation value shown by a pixel by using a correction value. SOLUTION: In a liquid ejection method, a test pattern constituted by arranging a plurality of pixel trains where a plurality of pixels are arranged in a predetermined direction in a direction crossing the predetermined direction is formed, the test pattern is read by a scanner to obtain a read gradation value of each pixel train, and a correction amount is calculated for each pixel train on the basis of the read gradation value, then a correction value of a certain pixel train is calculated on the basis of a flying curve amount of a liquid droplet ejected from nozzles made to correspond to the respective pixel trains, the correction amount of the pixel train and the correction amount of the pixel trains adjacent to the pixel train, and the gradation value shown by the pixel is corrected by using the correction value.
