PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of falling-off of muddy water from a milled clay receiver and the complex work of removing the milled clay receiver, when the milled clay receiver is removed from a potter's wheel for ceramic art. SOLUTION: The potter's wheel for ceramic art having a turntable 4 fixed to the upper part of a fixed table 3 is constructed in a such a manner that the diameter of the opening 14 of a milled clay receiver 5 is set larger than the outer diameter of the fixed table 3 and smaller than the outer diameter of the turntable 4. Thus, when the milled clay receiver 5 is removed, there is no need to remove the fixed table 3, and the milled clay receiver 5 is pulled up to be easily removed from the potter's wheel 1 for ceramic art.
