PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly showing the flow of hot water by illuminating the hot water itself near a hot-water outlet. SOLUTION: The electric hot-water storage tank includes a tank body 1 having a built-in inner container 3 for storing hot water; a lid 2 for openably/closably covering an upper opening of the tank body 1; a heating unit (an electric heater 4) for heating hot water in the container 3; a hot-water path 5 for feeding hot water downward from the hot-water outlet 5b disposed in a beak part 2a of the lid 2; and a hot-water feeding pump 6 for feeding hot water W via the hot-water path 5. A light source (an LED 29) for illuminating the hot water W fed downward from the hot-water outlet 5b is disposed in the beak part 2a so that the hot water W itself, fed from the hot-water outlet 5b, is illuminated with the light emitted from the LED 29.
