PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of relieving the unbalance of laundry by efficiently detecting the weight of the laundry and disentangling the laundry according to the weight. SOLUTION: Cloth quantity is determined by measuring the weight of the laundry based on the result of detection by an acceleration detecting unit 37 for detecting the acceleration of the vibration of a water tub 3 within a rotary drum 2 when the dewatering step is started.
