PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of providing high-definition images by removing an offset voltage of an analog signal input in an ADC and preventing the generation of a luminescent spot artifact generated by the offset voltage. SOLUTION: A digital potentiometer 26 is connected to an input side of an amplifier 15a located immediately prior to an input terminal of the ADC 17. FPGA 27 sets a parameter for offsetting offset components to the digital potentiometer 26 based on the digital signal output from the ADC 17. The FPGA 27 detects an output voltage value when an input signal to the ADC 17 is 0, and adjusts the setting value of the digital potentiometer 26 so that the detected voltage value becomes 0. This constitution can remove the DC offset components contained in the analog image signal to be fed to the ADC 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
