PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a user can easily control the pace of the decrease of developer. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 1 includes: an image forming section 43; a toner consumption detecting section 44; a storage section 45; a control section 46; and a display panel 5a. The image forming section 43 forms an image on a paper by using toner. The toner consumption detecting section 44 detects the consumption of the toner. The storage section 45 stores the consumption of the toner. The control section 46 calculates the toner residual amounts of a plurality of present and past predetermined periods, based on the consumption of the toner. The display panel 5a displays the present toner residual amount by a graph and a predetermined period in each position corresponding to the toner residual amounts of a plurality of past predetermined periods on the graph.
