PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow velocity measuring device capable of measuring the flow velocity of gas fluid under high-pressure environment. SOLUTION: This flow velocity measuring device 10 has a pressing member 20, a casing 30, and a detection part 40. The pressing member 20 is pressed at one end by the gas fluid. The casing 30 movably supports the pressing member 20 in the pressing direction of the gas fluid. The detection part 40 is provided on the casing 30 side so as to abut against the other end of the pressing member 20 and is discolored in response to the pressing force of the gas fluid pressing the pressing member 20.
