The arrangement (12) has a supporting plate (26) for supporting a holder (14) of a hood lock, where the holder is fixed at a cross beam (16) of a body of a motor vehicle i.e. passenger car. The supporting plate is supported at a longitudinal beam (32) of the motor vehicle. A fixing element of the holder partially encompasses the cross beam. The holder is indirectly fixed at the longitudinal beam under intervention of the support plate, where a main extending direction of the support plate runs toward a vehicle vertical axis.
