FIELD: radio engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in waveguide, antenna and SHF-measuring hardware. Proposed device comprise waveguide section with shortcircuiters on its end faces and two mutually perpendicular rectangular holes at its input and output aforesaid waveguide section features rectangular cross section and length equal to wide output hole size, while wide wall size equals output hole wide side size. Narrow wall size b is selected from the relation b1ëñbëñb2, where b1 and b2 are the sizes of narrow sides of input and output holes. Aforesaid holes are arranged on both wide walls of the waveguide section to make wide side of rectangular hole at waveguide input get aligned with the face formed by intersection of waveguide section wide and narrow wall planes. Wide side of aforesaid hole is aligned with the face formed by intersection of shortcircuiter plane and that of waveguide section another wide wall. Note here that aforesaid waveguide section accommodates matching right prisms arranged opposite each of rectangular holes. Note also that the waveguide section accommodates flat matching reflector arranged between narrow wall and shortcircuiter. ^ EFFECT: shorter length, expanded operating range, possibility to transform waveguide cross section and turn polarisation plane. ^ 2 dwg, 1 tbl |
