<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system for a vehicle, enhancing the utilization efficiency of a storage device for image data storage. <P>SOLUTION: Cameras 152 to 158 shoots a periphery of a vehicle to generate image data. An image selection part 108 stores the image data in a second memory, and an image compression part 102 compresses the image data by a predetermined compression system to generate a compressed image data and store the data in a first memory 104. Triggered by occurrence of a predetermined event, the image selection part 108 switches a position for storing the compressed image data from the first memory 104 to the second memory 110 and stores a compressed image data generated subsequently in a second memory 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
