PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dissimilar material composite member in which a film, which is dense, is excellent in adhesion strength, and essentially consists of a metal or a non-metal different from the material of a substrate, is formed on the surface of the substrate, and which is simple, inexpensive and environment-friendly, and to provide a method for producing the dissimilar material composite member.
