<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system capable of measuring a relative speed, a relative distance and the like with respect to an object within a measuring range, at a low computation load. <P>SOLUTION: This radar system compares a level of a reflected wave reflected on the object existing within the measuring range with a predetermined threshold value. This radar system measures the relative distance with respect to the object, based on only the reflected waves having the predetermined threshold value or more, calculates a Doppler frequency by Fourier-transforming the reflected waves, and calculates the relative speed with respect to the object, based on the calculated Doppler frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
