<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device having an optical detection unit capable of easily performing intermediate function inspection on not only a wiring line for liquid crystal driving, but also a wiring line connected to the optical detection unit. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 1 includes: an array substrate AR provided with scan lines GW, signal lines SW, and a chip mounting area CA where an IC chip Dr is mounted; a color filter substrate CF provided with a color filter layer 23; the optical detection unit LD1 having optical sensors 30<SB>1</SB>to 30<SB>6</SB>; a detecting circuit connected to sensor routing wiring lines LC1 to L3 coupled to a wiring line of the optical detection unit LD1; a lighting means; and a control means of controlling lightness of the lighting means. A plurality of wiring lines 31 to 33 for sensor inspection are formed which have one-end sides connected to the plurality of sensor routing lines L1 to L3 and the other-end sides extended into the chip mounting area CA, terminals 34 to 36 for sensor inspection being formed at the other-end sides of the wiring lines 31 to 33 for sensor inspection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
