PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head and a liquid discharge apparatus capable of catching foreign matter such as dust while ensuring the supply of liquid to a liquid passage from a common liquid chamber, and moreover removing the caught foreign matter. SOLUTION: A plurality of projections 11 in the common liquid chamber 6 are arranged so that a shortest distance between the mutually adjacent projections 11 is gradually shortened in an ink supply direction toward the ink passage 3 from the common liquid chamber 6.
