PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive adjusting sliding door enabling the covering of the gap between a mullion and the surface of a door plate to prevent light from leaking therethrough, adaptable also to the warpage of the door plate, having a gap adjusting member the structure of which is not complicated and which can be easily adjusted, enabling the easy replacement of an old gap adjusting member with a new one when the sliding door is reformed or maintained at a construction site, having excellent aesthetic appearance since the gap adjusting member is concealed, and enabling the adjustment of the gap adjusting member without removing the door plate. SOLUTION: A sliding door frame is formed of an upper frame, a lower frame, right and left vertical frames, and the mullion. An opening is formed by one of the right and left vertical frames, the mullion, the upper frame, and the lower frame. The door plate laterally slidable along the upper frame and the lower frame is installed in the sliding door frame. The gap adjusting member with which the gap between the front end edge of the mullion opposed to the door plate and the surface of the door plate is filled projects adjustably from the front end edge of the mullion opposed to the door plate.
