PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester polymer from which a fluorescent substance does not bleed out, and which can emit sufficient fluorescence, to provide a method for producing the polyester polymer, and to provide a molded article having excellently beautiful appearance. SOLUTION: The polyester polymer contains a repeating unit represented by general formula (1) (wherein, X<SB>1</SB>is a divalent organic group containing a perylene ring; Y<SB>1</SB>is a divalent organic group; and n is an integer of≥2).
