<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for enabling electronic communication, coordination, and dissemination of color-related designs, specifications, and products. <P>SOLUTION: Color production and maintenance are simultaneously provided substantially in "real time" between a plurality of disparate parties concerned. This integrated color manufacturing system can import electronic output from many various measuring instruments including hardware and software related to the color manufacturing, and automatically distributes product data to the plurality of parties concerned which are geographically distributed using the output. In addition, an electronic library comprises colors and textures in order to be used for accurately matching a color sample and/or the specifications.
