PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton made of a paper board having a hinge section of which the repulsive force being generated when being bent is small, and in addition, which is hard to break even when being repeatedly bent. SOLUTION: A lid panel for opening/closing is partitioned from the top surface panel to the front surface panel, and the lid panel is made liftable upward through a folding line 21 on the rear side. As the folding line 21, the hinge section consisting of a plurality of cuts which are intermittently installed in a row is used. Respective cuts are placed under a state in which the ends are separated in the direction of the row, and also, are alternately installed on the right and the left in the direction of the row. The hinge section is constituted in such a manner that when the paper board is bent in the direction of the row of the cuts, the structural fracture of the paper board may gradually grow from a vicinity of the center of a virtual line, which connects the confronted ends of adjacent cuts with each other, to the ends of the cuts so that the paper board can be bent.
