PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suction for an unlimited amount in an easy and consecutive manner, and to provide a simplified and portable device relating to the suction leading to a simplified and portable endoscope apparatus. SOLUTION: The suction syringe comprises a tubular body 11 and a piston body 12, and the tubular body 11 is provided with a vent hole V<SB>A</SB>and a suction opening 14. The piston body 12 has a piston portion 12a which comes into close contact with the inner surface of the tubular body in the state of partitioning the inside of the tubular body 11 which is a closed space into a front chamber 11F and a rear chamber 11R and reciprocates at a position on the distal end side from the suction opening 14, a shaft portion 12b supporting the piston portion 12a on the distal end side and having an outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the tubular body, and a pressing portion 12c provided on the rear end side of the shaft portion 12b, and a vent passage 16 is formed inside the shaft portion 12b so as to connect the B vent hole V<SB>B</SB>of the pressing portion 12c and a C vent hole V<SB>C</SB>on the distal end side of the shaft portion 12b. Also, a spring 18 for returning the pressed pressing portion 12c to an original position is provided, and fluid is sucked from the suction opening 14 of the tubular body 11 by repeatedly operating the pressing portion 12c.
