PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a disposable diaper capable of manufacturing a disposable diaper which is flexible, where coming out of an elastic band hardly occurs, and which is excellent in fitting properties around the legs. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the disposable diaper includes: a process of applying an adhesive to the outer periphery of each of around-leg opening forming parts P1 and P2 of one sheet S1, a process of disposing two-systems of around-leg extensible materials (long-length extensible materials Er1, Er2) in an extended state along each of the forming parts P1 and P2 in an applied area 54 where the adhesive is applied, and a process of sticking another sheet to the surface of the one sheet S1 where the around-leg extensible materials (long-length extensible materials the Er1, Er2) are disposed, thereby making a sheet laminated body. While being made to correspond to each of the around-leg opening forming parts P1 and P2 of the one sheet S1, the applied area 54 is formed while being divided into at least three block areas 50, and the adhesive is applied such that each of the block-like areas 50 has an area of 5 to 150 cm<SP>2</SP>.
