PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooled NMR probe which operates normally, even if its amplifier box is cooled at temperatures lower than those in the coventional cases. SOLUTION: This cooled NMR probe comprises an NMR detection coil and transmitting/receiving circuit which supplies RF pulses from an external transmitting circuit to the NMR detection coil, receives the NMR signal from the NMR detection coil, after supplying the RF pulse and transmits the NMR signal to an external receiving signal. By having an electronic circuit contained in the transmitting/receiving circuit lowered to low temperatures, thermal noise of the electronic circuit are reduced, and the detection sensitivity of the NMR signal is improved. In the cooled NMR probe, electronic components whose electric property deteriorates at low temperatures in the electronic circuit are thermally insulated from members which become low temperature and are kept at temperatures higher than that of the perimeter.
