PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid pumping device switching on/off of a working fluid introducing port and a working fluid discharging port over a long period of time. SOLUTION: A snapping mechanism 5 is equipped with: a rocking shaft 35 supported in a sealed container 2; a float arm 34 for rotating around the rocking shaft 35 according to up and down motion of a float 3; a snapping rotation member 37 rotatably mounted on the rocking shaft 35, and having a cross-sectionally cone shaped recessed part 40; a first shaft 44 supported on an axial line of the float arm 34; a second shaft 47 supported on the axial line of the float arm 34 and moving on the axial line of the float arm 34; a connecting member 39 rotatably mounted on the second shaft 47 and having a cross-sectionally cone shaped protruded part 50; and a compression coil spring 38 mounted between the first and second shafts 44, 47. The snapping rotation member 37 and the connecting member 39 are connected by abutting the cross-sectionally cone shaped protruded part 50 of the connecting member 39 on the cross sectionally cone shaped recessed part 40 of the snapping rotation member 37.
