<p>A method of forming localized variation of color density in the surface of a dyed cellulosic fabric with reducing back staining, with a composition comprising a cellulose having the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2 or an amino acid sequence having at least 75% sequence identity with SEQ ID NO:2 is provided. A method for biopolishing a cellulose-containing fabric by using the new endoglucanase is also provided.</p>
