FIELD: instrument engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measurement equipment, particularly to level indicators, and can be used to control level of liquid and bulk materials, including aggressive, in chemical and other industries. Piezoelectric level indicator transmitter comprises a metal cylindrical cup and one or two piezoelectric transducer that represents hollow cylinders of the same sizes and arranged in the cup coaxially to its wall. The piezoelectric transducer are mounted in the cup by means of allowance interference fit, and the internal diametre of the cup fulfils to provide minimum specific piezoelectric transducer pressure of the cup at peak working temperature. The allowance interference fit is carried out by heating the cup to temperature at which the piezoelectric transducers freely enter into the cup. The heating temperature of the piezoelectric transducers generated by the cup during installation process shall not exceed Curie point temperature for piezoceramics used to make the piezoelectric transducers. Thereafter the cup is cooled to ambient temperature. ^ EFFECT: extended range of working temperatures, higher security of attachment of the piezoelectric transducers in the transmitter, improved transmitting sensitivity and possibility to control level of bulk materials. ^ 1 dwg |
