<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly set a control variable of an electric motor of a slave cylinder when operating EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) for adjusting brake hydraulic pressure to make braking force of rear wheels smaller than that of front wheels. <P>SOLUTION: When operating the EBD for adjusting the brake hydraulic pressure generated by the slave cylinder to make the braking force of the rear wheels smaller than that of the front wheels when the control variable of the electric motor of the slave cylinder is determined by a map retrieval according to manipulated variable of a brake pedal, the control variable of the electric motor is corrected according to whether the EBD is operated for one wheel or two wheels of the rear wheels. As a result, proper braking force can be obtained by setting the control variable of the electric motor to compensate a decrease of liquid loss of a liquid passage between the slave cylinder and wheel cylinders of the rear wheels, even if the liquid loss is reduced by changing the braking force of the rear wheels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
