<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool reducing operation load of a trigger to alleviate a physical load of an operator and also to eliminate deterioration of a contact to extend a service life. <P>SOLUTION: The power tool includes: a motor 2 with a brush serving as a driving source; a battery 1 for supplying power to the motor 2; and the trigger 5 for turning ON/OFF the power supply from the battery 1 to the motor 2. A FET (semiconductor switch) 16 is provided on a current line for connecting the motor 2 with the battery 1. An ON/OFF state circuit 18 containing a switch 17 to be turned ON/OFF in conjunction with the ON/OFF operation of the trigger 5, and a microcomputer (control means) 22 for activating the FET 16, based on an ON/OFF signal transmitted from the ON/OFF state circuit 18 to turn ON/OFF the power supply from the battery 1 to the motor 2, are provided on a different line from the current line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
