<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for a polarizing plate having both of excellent durability and light leakage preventing properties even in severe operating environmental conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The adhesive composition for a polarizing plate includes (A) 100 pts.mass of an acrylic polymer with weight-average molecular weight of 1,000,000-2,000,000, (B) 1-20 pts.mass of a petroleum-based liquid tackifying resin, (C) 0.01-2 pts.mass of a curing agent, and (D) 0.01-1 pts.mass of a silane coupling agent. The acrylic polymer is obtained by copolymerizing at least (a1) 50-94.9 mass% of a (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester, (a2) 5-40 mass% of an aromatic ring-containing monomer, and (a3) 0.1-10 mass% of a functional group-containing monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
