PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive signaling magnetic plug that first functions to early detect the presence of a metal particle, without causing rapid constraint of the utilization situation, and secondly, that perfectly maintains the capability of investigation during maintenance. SOLUTION: The signaling magnetic plug 10 for a liquid circuit 14 includes a first magnetic electrode 26 and a second magnetic electrode 28 which come into contact with the liquid flowing in the liquid circuit, when the magnetic plug is mounted so as to detect the presence of metal particles that might be contained in the liquid. The plug is detected the presence of such metal particles at an early stage, whereby the plug includes a preferably non-magnetic intermediate electrode 38, disposed in between the first and second magnetic electrodes, while also being designed to be in contact with the liquid flowing in the liquid circuit, when the magnetic plug is mounted.
