PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onboard monitor device for enabling a driver to predict that a vehicle behind a building is suddenly displayed on a display monitor. SOLUTION: A vehicle to be tracked at vehicle locations 45d, 45e, 45i and 45j is not hidden behind a building 42a, and displayed on a display monitor 16. Also, as for even vehicle locations 45f, 45g and 45h hidden behind the building 42a, the display position is predicted, and an icon 53 is displayed at the predicted display position, and a driver is notified of the presence of the vehicle to be tracked.
