PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid for a gutter enabling pedestrians and vehicles to hardly slip due to its discharge property of water such as rainwater and preventing the passage of the pedestrians and vehicles from being obstructed. SOLUTION: This lid 2 for a gutter is placed between supporting parts which are formed on the upper parts of both side wall parts vertically extending from both left and right sides of the bottom surface part of the gutter and put on the upper surface opening of the gutter. In the lid, a rainwater falling hole 7 extending therethrough from the upper surface to the lower surface is formed at the left and right side edge portions of the gutter placed on the supporting parts. A rainwater collecting tilted surface 8 downward tilted toward the rainwater falling hole is formed on the upper surface of each of the side edge portions along the side edge portion. A drain guide surface 9 having a high lateral center portion on the upper surface and downward tilted from the high portion toward the left and right rainwater collecting tilted surface is formed on the upper surface thereof positioned between both the left and right rainwater collecting tilted surfaces. A plurality of island parts 10 are raised on the drain guide surface so that the pedestrians can move and pass on the island parts, and rainwater can be collected from the drain guide surface to the rainwater collecting tilted surface and is allowed to fall through the rainwater falling hole.
