PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide harness with a branch structure for connecting an on-vehicle electric component so simply structured that the reflection of signals does not occur even when an on-vehicle network protocol for high-speed transmission including a FlexRay standard is used and the other control units are not affected when the harness is detached and attached. SOLUTION: The branch structure for connection is formed in a connector detachable to a control unit. The connector includes a switch structure which divides and holds the harness at a branch section, connects the divided section of the harness while the on-vehicle electric component is not installed in the control unit, and releases the connection of the divided section of the harness while the on-vehicle electric component is installed in the control unit.
