PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device preventing the occurrence of adhesion of cutting chips generated when cutting a sheet, to the sheet owing to scattering of chips and scratch of sheet or the like. SOLUTION: This device for cutting the continuous sheet moves horizontally and has following two types of cutting machines, namely, (1) one or more first cutting machines for cutting the sheet along the direction of travel of the continuous sheet, and (2) a second cutting machine moving in synchronization with travel of the sheet and having following four components (A) to (D) to cut the sheet in the horizontal direction crossing the direction of travel of the sheet orthogonally, namely, (A) a cutter for cutting the sheet, (B) a second cutting machine cover arranged in an upper part in the vicinity of a sheet cutting part by use of the cutter, (C) a pair of gas nozzles arranged symmetrically on the upstream side and the downstream side of the sheet across the cutting machine cover (B), and (D) a suction duct connected with the cutting machine cover (B).
