INTELLIGENT FIREARM LOCKING DEVICE

An intelligent firearm-locking device (1) is for protection of firearm against theft and misuse with said firearm-locking device (1) to be mounted stationary to a rack or a mobile rack. The firearm-locking device (1) comprises a cradle (3) for locating the firearm and an associated lock assembly (4) to lock said firearm to said cradle (3). The cradle (3) of the firearm-locking device (1) is modular and replaceable by another different unit to suit a firearm of another design. The lock assembly (4) of the firearm-locking device (1) is electrically connected to a power source (11) and controlled by a control module (12) and activated by an electronic key (13). The power source (11) can be housed internally in the lock assembly (4) and function independently enabling said firearm-locking device (1) to be operated as a stand alone unit.
