<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively provide data within a limited display space with a calendar function. <P>SOLUTION: A calendar display image 41 includes a date display image 42 and a preview display image 43. A list of dates is displayed on the date display image 42 and the date is designated by moving a cursor 61 on the date. The preview display image 43 is provided adjacently at the lower part of the date display image 42 to display one item of character data. A mobile phone 1 displays, with priority, in the preview display image 43, the name of national holiday when the national holiday is selected on the date display image 42 or the contents of the schedule based on the national holiday when schedule contents are set for the national holidays.
