<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a priority arbitration system and a priority arbitration method which suppress deterioration of latency by long path packets or packets waiting due to contention on a path. <P>SOLUTION: The priority arbitration system is provided with: a plurality of CPUs; a plurality of hardware resources to be accessed from the plurality of CPUs; a plurality of crossbars which perform routing between them; and a plurality of routing tables which store latency information showing latency between the plurality of CPUs and the plurality of hardware resources. When transmitting transmission packets to the destination hardware resources, each of the plurality of CPUs adds the latency information corresponding to the destination hardware resources to the transmission packets in the routing tables of the own CPU. When receiving the plurality of packets, each of the plurality of crossbars executes priority arbitration so as to preferentially transmit a packet whose latency is high to the destination hardware resources. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
