<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically manufacturing a boron-doped silicon from a reduced silicon that is obtained by reducing a halogenated silicon with metallic aluminium. <P>SOLUTION: The method is for obtaining the reduced silicon by reducing the halogenated silicon with the metallic aluminium, and purifying the obtained reduced silicon by heating and melting it after addition of boron and by solidifying it in a mold and in a state where the temperature gradient is provided in one direction. Preferably, the boron is added after heating and melting the reduced silicon after pickling it, the boron is added after heating and melting the reduced silicon under a reduced pressure, or the boron is added after heating and melting the reduced silicon after purifying it by solidifying it in one direction after heating and melting it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
