PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably realize requests to an engine. SOLUTION: An engine control system 705 includes a conversion section 800, a decision section 804, a selection section 806, and a control section 810. The conversion section 800 converts the request values of different kinds from power among the request values to be requested to the engine from a plurality of control systems A to D into power. The decision section 804 decides a parameter to be an object to control among a plurality of parameters indicating the operating condition of the engine for each of the control systems A to D. The selection section 806 selects the request value of the power from the request values of the powers of the plurality of control systems A to D in accordance with the order of priority decided according to the control systems A to D.
