PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust device of an internal combustion engine capable of improving supercharging responsiveness of a turbocharger by restraining reduction in exhaust pulsation. SOLUTION: Each cylinder 2 of an engine 1 has a first exhaust port 10A passing through the turbochargers 40A and 40B, and a second exhaust port 10B passing downstream of the turbochargers 40A and 40B. The first exhaust port 10A of adjacent first and third cylinders #1 and #3 in a first bank 6 and the first exhaust port 10A of fifth and seventh cylinders #5 and #7 are respectively initially converged within a cylinder head 4. The first exhaust port 10A of adjacent second and fourth cylinders #2 and #4 of a second bank 8 and the first exhaust port 10A of sixth and eighth cylinders #6 and #8 are respectively initially converged within the cylinder head 4.
