PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer capable of simplifying a structure, and capable of reducing cost, by reducing the number of part items. SOLUTION: This silencer has an expansion chamber 11 and a series of pipes 7 communicating with a gas introducing side partition wall 5 and a gas deriving side partition wall 6 of the expansion chamber 11, and is provided with bending parts 74 and 75 for constituting a blocking-up part in an arranging part in the expansion chamber 11 of the pipes 7, and opens a gas introducing port 72 in a pipe peripheral wall 71 on the gas introducing side to the blocking-up part, and opens a gas deriving port 73 in the pipe peripheral wall 71 on the gas deriving side to the blocking-up part.
