PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a casing for a door frame capable of reducing waste of a material. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a casing for a door frame is as follows. A first slit 11 from one face 10A of a longitudinal middle-quality fiber plate 10 having a rectangular cross section in parallel with an upper edge in the longitudinal direction as well as a second slit 12 from another face 10B placed on the other side of the face 10A of the middle-quality fiber plate 10 in parallel with a lower edge in the longitudinal direction are formed respectively. After forming the slits, the middle-quality fiber plate 10 is broken up in such a way as to communicate the first slit and the second slit, so as to be divided into two for making two pieces of casings for the door 1, 1 of L-shaped cross section.
