SHEET LOADER, SHEET FOLDING DEVICE, AND BOOKBINDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To align posture of a sheet bundle group as a base of sheets folded at centers, and to stably stack a large volume of the sheets folded at centers. SOLUTION: A sheet loader includes: a sheet bundle discharging means discharging a sheet bundle folded at centers with the folded edge in the lead; a folded edge supporting means moving in a direction inclined to a horizontal surface and supporting the folded edge by abutting on the folded edge of the sheet bundle; a lower surface supporting means supporting the outer lower surface of the sheet bundle discharged from above in the moving direction of the folded edge supporting means so that the folded edge of the sheet bundle is positioned on a low side in inclination and the open end of the sheet bundle is positioned on a high side in inclination; a member moving together with the folded edge supporting means and forming a top facing the outer lower surface between the folded edge of the sheet bundle supported by the folded edge supporting means and the open end of the sheet bundle; and a supporting means supporting the folded edge supporting means away from the sheet bundle discharging means when the number of sheets placed on the lower surface supporting means is a second number bigger than a first number other than the first number.
