摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of classifying tire components into three deformation areas, a device for performing the method, and a method of designing a tire by using the method, which are used for efficiently reducing the rolling resistance of the tire. SOLUTION: A tire model formed of finite elements is prepared, and an inner pressure charging treatment and a ground-contact treatment are applied thereto. When a variation in the stress and strain, for the circumference of the tire, acting on each infinite element of the tire model to which these treatments are applied, is considered to be the vibration of one frequency, the portions of the tire components corresponding to their respective infinite elements are classified into one selected from a constant stress deformation area, a constant strain deformation area, and a constant loss energy deformation area using at least the rate of change of the amplitude of the vibration occurring when a material constant is changed. The direction of change of the physical values of a rubber member for reducing the rolling resistance is thereby known using the results of the classification.
