PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed tractor capable of preventing pulling-in of printed ejected paper without needing a large space. SOLUTION: This paper feed tractor includes a body part 9 equipped with a paper feed belt 15, and a cover 10 for holding continuous paper 3 mounted on the paper feed belt 15 to the paper feed belt 15, and a paper feed passage 26 is formed between the body part 9 and the cover 10. A separator 27 is arranged to close a space between the upper surface of the continuous paper 3 on the paper feed passage 26 and the cover 10 at an upstream position in the paper feed direction relative to a position for a feed claw of the paper feed belt 15 to engage with the paper.
