PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade fitting jig set and a fitting method, easily fitting a blade to a band saw cutting device without damaging even an extremely large-sized and thinned blade. SOLUTION: The blade fitting jig set has at least two guide pins for fitting a blade coaxially with an axis of the pulley; a plurality of support members for supporting a side face of the fitted blade; a jig body having two guides including holes for inserting the guide pins; and two fixing tools engaging with the guide pins. The blade is placed in the jig body, with its side face supported by the support member, then the guide pins are inserted into the holes of the guide of the jig body, to thereby lift the jig body so that the blade is positioned in a position where the blade is fitted to the pulley, and the fixing tool is engaged with the guide pin to fix the jig body in a prescribed position.
